I’ve been writing stories for a long time, and I’ve had them published in magazines and anthologies, and read on radio. I’ve also had them syndicated in other countries, including translated versions in Sweden and Finland. I even once had one plagiarised – the unfortunate author who pinched my story made the mistake of sending it to a magazine I also wrote for, so I recognised it and he was forced to withdraw.

One of the highlights of my story-writing career was to have a story read on BBC Radio 4 by Patricia Hodge, and to have the experience of being at the recording and working with her and the producer on the post-editing.
