I’ve been shortlisted for the Peter Cowan 600 Short Story Award, for a story of less than 600 words. I won’t know until next weekend whether I’m one of the main prizewinners or not. Update: The results are now out. There were 307 entries, three cash prizes, five highly commended entries and five commended. Mine was one of the highly commended.
